This policy explains what data Geminos collects when you use geminos.io and the app.geminos.io dashboard, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run an account and process payments, we never ask for your Twitch password, and we do not sell data.

Data Protection Officer

The Data Protection Officer is Marius Butteon. You can contact him at support@geminos.io.

What we collect

  • Account data — the email address and password hash you register with, and your plan and trial status.
  • Channel identifier — the public Twitch or Kick channel name you enter for delivery. This is already-public information; we store it to run the service you configured.
  • Order and billing data — plan, price, currency, tax country, and payment status. Card details go directly to our payment processors and never touch our servers.
  • Service configuration and logs — delivery targets, pacing settings, start/stop times, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and abuse prevention.
  • Support correspondence — emails, Discord messages, and Crisp live-chat messages you send us, so we can resolve the issue and keep a record of what was agreed. Crisp may also receive your IP address, browser and device information when you enable the chat.

How we use it

  • To operate the dashboard, run the deliveries you configure, and show their status.
  • To process payments, apply taxes, issue invoices, and handle renewals or cancellations.
  • To answer support requests and honor the refill policy.
  • To secure the service: rate limiting, fraud and abuse detection, and incident investigation.
  • To send transactional email — receipts, trial expiry, and material changes to terms. Marketing email only with consent, and every message has an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data to train models or build advertising profiles.

What we never collect

No Twitch credentials, ever

The service runs from your public channel name. We never ask for — and have no field to enter — your Twitch password, OAuth token, or two-factor code. Any email or site claiming to be Geminos and asking for Twitch credentials is fraudulent; report it to support@geminos.io.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with processors needed to run the service: payment providers (for checkout and refunds), hosting and infrastructure providers (where the dashboard and logs run), an email delivery provider (for transactional mail), Google Analytics (for website-usage measurement after analytics consent), and Crisp (for live-chat support after functionality consent). Each receives only the information needed for that function. We disclose data to authorities only where a valid legal obligation requires it.

Cookies

The dashboard uses strictly necessary cookies for login sessions and security. Optional functionality cookies load Crisp live chat. Google Analytics loads only after analytics consent and measures page addresses, page titles, and technical visit context. You can refuse optional categories or reopen the cookie settings at any time without losing access to Geminos.

Retention

  • Account data — kept while the account exists; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
  • Billing records — kept for the statutory retention period required by tax law, then deleted.
  • Technical logs — rotated automatically, typically within 90 days.
  • Support correspondence — kept up to 24 months after the last contact.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA), you can request access to the data we hold about you, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw any consent at any time, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@geminos.io with the subject "Privacy request" from the address on the account. We answer within 30 days.

Contact

Geminos is operated as an online service; the operator can be reached for any privacy matter at support@geminos.io. If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will note the change here and email account holders before it takes effect.
